Dennis Jenkins grew up in Los Angeles and studied at UC Riverside before earning his Master of Public Health at USC, where he concentrated in biostatistics and epidemiology. He came up through a premed and research background, starting at an eye institute where he analyzed data on glaucoma and other retinal diseases, studying how conditions show up across different populations and where the real gaps in care exist. That work gradually pulled him from pure analysis toward devices, and eventually to huMannity, where he has spent the better part of seven years. As a Senior Clinical Specialist, Dennis works at the crossroads of clinical and R&D, functioning as part clinical project manager and part bridge between the engineering lab and the people a technology is meant to help. He profiles the diseases and populations a device might serve, helps shape the studies that test the science, and prepares the documentation that regulatory review requires. His human-factors work keeps one plain question in view: How does this actually fit into someone's daily life? Ask what keeps him at huMannity and Dennis points to the culture. Heena Sharma brings 15 years of intellectual property expertise to huMannity Medtec, where she has spent the last 4.5 years doing something rare: practicing a profession she loves in an industry she has been passionate about since childhood. Her path into IP was shaped by a defining quality: an insatiably curious mind. "It's like a gym for your mind," she says. "You get to learn about new ideas, new technology, and then help protect them." Authorized to practice before the USPTO, Heena works directly with huMannity's inventors, scientists, and engineers — protecting the innovations that become the medical devices reaching patients who need them most. That sense of purpose has roots going back much further. As a child in India, Heena dreamed of becoming a doctor — a dream shaped by witnessing, firsthand, how financial hardship could stand between a person and lifesaving care. Engineering became her path instead, but medicine never left her heart. She believes deeply in collaboration over competition, and in the idea that the truest measure of a career is the impact it leaves on others. At huMannity, she's found a place where that belief is shared.

Fumito Azama grew up in Los Angeles and studied electrical engineering at Cal State Northridge before joining the huMannity team in 2024. The transition to huMannity's growing organization — with dedicated HR, quality, and engineering departments — was a meaningful one.
